Our Occupational Therapist (OT) works with people with a disability and / or health condition that impact your ability to fully participate their activities of daily living (ADLs).

Our OT services are available for face-to-face home and community visits in the Melbourne metro area, as well as via telehealth or over the phone.

Functional Capacity Assessments (FCA) and reports

Our Occupational Therapist conducts person centred and comprehensive NDIS Functional Capacity Assessment service.​ One of our qualified Occupational Therapists will talk with the participant (or parent/carer) regarding their needs and aspirations, taking into account all aspects of their daily living capability, vocational and community abilities, functional and support needs.

Daily Living Skills Intervention & Other Skills Training: i.e.  Emotional Regulation Strategies, Social Skills Interventions (SSIs), & Stranger Safety Education

Our Occupational Therapist will work with you to improve your daily living skills like dressing, bathing, and cooking, fostering your independence and confidence. Additionally, we offer tailored programs to address:

  • Emotional regulation: Learn strategies to manage emotions effectively.

  • Social skills: Develop positive social interactions and build meaningful relationships.

  • Stranger safety: Gain the knowledge and tools for staying safe in various situations.

Housing Assessments: Assessing Supported Disability Accommodation (SDA)& Supported Independent Living (SIL) Needs.

Assistive Technology is a term commonly used to describe any device or system which allows an individual to perform a task as independently as possible.  Equipment Assessments involve an evaluation of your individual disability needs. Your OT will  prescribe/recommend  equipment which will support  improvement to your ability to carry out everyday activities

Falls Risk Assessments & Minor Home Modification Assessments

This is where an Occupational Therapist specifically looks at the functional status and support needs in the participants current home, making a plan to empower them to live safely and independently achieving their everyday care needs.
